Club History and By-Laws

The first Tidewater area Grady-White Owners Club activities took place in 2007. The Club was officially organized in 2008.  Directly involved in the Club set up were Jason Murphy of Norfolk Marine and Brian Hodson.

The first Club President was Brian Hodson. Under his initial 2 year leadership term, the Club's membership grew steadily which launched many boating and social activities including the annual tradition of our Smithfield Station Rendezvous.   

During Brian's second term as President he led the efforts to formally incorporate in 2012. 

Other past Presidents include: 

Candy Thomas, Joe Miller, Paul Landin, Doug Martin, Ken Silverman, Ben Carey and Spencer Snedecor. 

The current President is Sam Estep

We are a legally registered entity with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Secretary of State as a Non Stock Corporation.
